Media sharing configureren in Windows Media Player 11
Nadat u Windows Media Player 11 of hoger heeft aangeschaft en geinstalleerd en de radio met het
internet heeft verbonden, moet u media sharing opzetten (configureren) om de bestanden te delen met
uw Internet radio.
U kunt bestanden delen van het format Windows Media Audio (.wma), MP3 (.mp3), and WAV (.wav).
Merk op dat audio CD’s die zich in uw computer bevinden niet gedeeld kunnen worden. Om een bestand
in uw bibliotheek (library) te kunnen delen, moet het originele bestand zic bevinden in een van de
gemonitorde mappen (folders) . Als uitgangspunt monitored de Music Player automatisch e mapen waar
de meeste mensen hun muziek bestanden in opslaan inclusief de My Music files, My pictures map en My
Videos map. Bovendien worden afspeellijsten zoals Windows Media Play list (.wpl) en MP3 (.mp3), en
WAV (.wav) ondersteund.
Firewall: Als u een firewall op de computer heeft geinstalleerd, wees er dan zeker van dat het de radio is
toegestaan zich met internet te verbinden. Anders voorkomt de firewall dat de radio zich verbindt met de
WMP11 UPnP server. Wij raden sterk aan om de firewall tijdelijk buiten werking te stellen voor de eerste
set up zoals onderstaand beschreven in de stappen 1-5. Daarna moet u niet vergeten de firewall weer te
activeren en de nodige uitzonderingen in te stellen.
De volgende stappen beschrijven hoe u media sharing op moet zetten (configureren) in Windows Media
Player 11.
