Pase todo el haz de cables por el orifi cio de 20 mm y lleve el cableado a lo largo del chasis de
la motoneta hasta que los bornes anulares lleguen a la batería. Presione el interruptor dentro
del orifi cio, y verifi que que esté correctamente posicionado y fi rmemente sujetado en el panel.
Compruebe que la tapa estanca del interruptor esté envuelta por debajo del interruptor, y por lo tanto
está sellando contra el panel de la carrocería.
2. Monte el interruptor en una posición adecuada, comprobando que el haz de cables llegue a los
cables que vienen de las empuñaduras sin estar sometido a tensión.
3. El interruptor se puede montar sobre un panel plano utilizando la almohadilla de espuma
autoadhesiva para montaje. También se puede montar sobre el soporte metálico provisto (si el
soporte es adecuado para el vehículo). Coloque la almohadilla de espuma entre el soporte y el
interruptor para reducir las vibraciones. De se necesario, se puede doblar el soporte dándole
otra forma.
4. En el haz de cables se ha incluido un LED para montaje en el panel, el cual se puede colocar
cerca del interruptor si se desea. Para montarlo perfore un orifi cio de 6,5 mm e inserte a presión
el LED desde el interior del panel; pasará bruscamente y quedará en su lugar. Se suministra una
tapa que va sobre el LED una vez que se ha insertado en su lugar en el panel.
5. Cuando el cableado esté ya colocado en la motocicleta, recomendamos enérgicamente proteger
todos los conectores sea con cinta aisladora, cinta impermeabilizante o tubos termocontraíbles
(cuide de no dañar el cable cuando coloque el tubo termocontraíble).
6. La conexión al polo positivo y la conexión al polo negativo de la batería tienen ambas un terminal
en anillo. Esto permitirá atornillarlos a los polos de la batería. Es preferible, y más fácil, conectar
el positivo (cable rojo +) directamente al borne positivo (+) de la batería, de manera que el
interruptor reciba tensión sufi ciente del sistema de carga del vehículo.
7. El cable negativo o de masa (cable negro) debe conectarse al borne negativo (–) de la batería.
8. La caja de control (ver la fi gura más abajo) se puede colocar bajo el asiento de la motocicleta o
cerca de la batería. Sin embargo, recomendamos mantenerla siempre a no menos de 25 mm de
la batería.
