4 Konformitätserklärung
Otto Bock erklärt als Hersteller in alleiniger Verantwortung, dass der Aktivrollstuhl Avantgarde
mit den Anforderungen der Richtlinie 93/42/EWG übereinstimmt.
5 Haftung
Der Hersteller haftet nur, wenn das Produkt unter den vorgegebenen Bedingungen und zu den
vorgegebenen Zwecken eingesetzt wird. Der Hersteller empfiehlt das Produkt sachgemäß zu
handhaben und entsprechend der Anleitung zu pflegen.
Für Schäden, die durch Bauteile und Ersatzteile verursacht werden, die nicht vom Hersteller
freigegeben wurden, haftet der Hersteller nicht. Reparaturen sind nur von autorisierten Fach-
händlern oder vom Hersteller selbst durchzuführen.
6 Service und Reparaturen
Service und Reparaturen am Aktivrollstuhl Avantgarde T, Ti 8.9, Ti Ultra, VR und XXL 2 dürfen
nur vom Otto Bock Fachhandel durchgeführt werden. Wenden Sie sich bei Problemen an den
Fachhändler, der Ihren Rollstuhl angepasst hat. Bei Reparaturen erhalten Sie dort ausschließlich
original Otto Bock Ersatzteile.
7 Anlieferung und Herstellung der Gebrauchsfähigkeit
Ihr Rollstuhl wird in der Regel komplett montiert im zusammengefalteten Zustand geliefert.
Um ihn gebrauchsfertig zu machen, genügen drei einfache Handgriffe:
• Fassen Sie den Rollstuhl beim Falten und Entfalten nur an den dargestellten Positionen an
(Verletzungsgefahr).
• Lösen Sie das Faltfixierband. Wenn Sie sich seitlich vom Rollstuhl befinden, kippen Sie ihn
etwas zu sich herüber und drücken Sie auf den Ihnen näheren Rand der Sitzbespannung.
Der Rollstuhl entfaltet sich auf seine Sitzbreite (Abb. 1).
• Jetzt müssen Sie nur noch das Fußbrett nach unten klappen (Abb. 2).
