Switching On/Off the Power
1. To switch on, press and hold with a beep tone and the LCD
displays the channel number and battery icon .
2. To switch off, press and hold until the LCD turns off.
Speaking to Other Radios
1. Press and hold the PTT key, displays on the LCD.
2. Hold the unit in a vertical position with the microphone 5 ~ 8 cm from
the mouth and then speak with normal voice volume.
3.Whenyouhavenishedspeaking,releasethePTT key and a beep
tone can be heard.
OPERATION
Roger Beep
The roger beep function enables a short tone signal which is transmitted
after releasing the PTT key.
1. Toggle the menu key until the LCD displays RGR icon.
2. Press / key to select ON (on) or OF (off).
3. Press the PTTkeytoconrmthenquitthecurrentdisplay.
Auto Power Off (APO)
The function may help save battery energy in case that you forget to
switch off a radio after use.
1. Toggle the menu key until the LCD displays .
2. Press / key to select APO time options from 0 to 12hr (hours).
3. Press the PTTkeytoconrmthenquitthecurrentdisplay.
NOTE
Whenever there is any signal received, the timer will re�start
counting from the beginning.
