Wheels
Use a pH-neutral wheel cleaning agent to
clean the wheels.
Wheels are painted and can be treated
with the same agents as the body. For alloy
whee ls, we recomm end the use of Alloy
W hee l Pres erver.
Paintw ork damage
Repair small area s of paint damage suc h
as stone impacts, scratches etc.
immediately using a Touch-Up Applicator
or Aerosol and Touch-Up Paint before rust
can form. If rust has already formed, have
the cause rectified by a workshop. Please
also pay attention to surfaces and edges
be ne ath the v ehicle where rust ma y have
formed unnoticed for some time.
Tar spots
Do not use hard objects to remove spots of
tar – use Tar Removal Spray. Do not use
Tar Removal Spray on the covers of
headlamps or other exterior lamps.
Exterior lamps
Headlamp and other protectiv e lam p
covers are made of plastic. If they require
additional cleaning after the vehicle has
be en was hed, clea n them with C ar
Shamp oo. Do not use any abra sive or
caustic agents, do not use an ice scraper,
and do not clean them dry.
Plastic and rubber par ts
For add itional cleaning of plastic and
rubb er parts, use Interior/Upholstery
Clea ner. Do not use any other agent, and
in particular do not use solvents or petrol.

Interior and upholstery
Clea n the vehicle interior, including the
instrument panel fascia, using Interior/
Upholstery Cleaner.
The instrument panel should only be
cleaned using a soft damp cloth.
Clean fabric upholstery with a vacuum
cleaner and brush. To remove stains, use
Interior/Upholstery Cleaner t hat is suitab le
for b oth fabrics and vinyl.
Do not use cleaning agents such as
acetone, carbon tetrachloride, paint
thinner, paint remover, nail varnish
remover, washing powder or blea ch to
clean fabrics, carpets, the instrument panel
or leather trim 3 in the vehicle interior.
Petrol is also unsuitable.
Open Velcro fasteners on clothing could
damage seat upholstery. Make sure that
Velcro fasteners are closed.
Seat belts
Always k eep seat b elts clean a nd dry.
Clean only with lukewa rm water or Interior/
Upholstery Cleaner.
Windows
When cleaning the heated rear window,
ma ke sure that the heating element on the
inside of the window is not damaged.
Use a soft lint-free cloth or chamois leather
in conjunction with Window Cleaner and
Insect R emover.
O pel Clea ning S olv ent and Antifree ze is
suita ble for de-icing windows.
For mec hanical removal of ice, use a
commercially available sharp-edged ice
scraper. Press the scraper firmly against
the glass so that no dirt can get under it
and scratch the glass.
Windscreen wiper blades
W ax such as the wax u sed in car was hes

when the windscreen wipers are switched
on.
Smearing wiper blades c an be cleaned with
a soft cloth and Opel Cleaning Solvent and
Antifreeze, and replac ed if necessa ry
