Das OneTouch® Verio™ Pro-Blutzuckermesssystem sollte

nicht verwendet werden:

• für eine Diabetes-Diagnose,

• für Tests bei Neugeborenen,

• bei Patienten innerhalb 24 Stunden nach Durchführung

eines D-Xylose-Resorptionstests, da dies u. U. zu

ungenauen hohen Ergebnissen führen kann.

Messprinzip

Die Glukose in der Blutprobe vermischt sich mit

speziellen Chemikalien im Teststreifen, wodurch ein

schwacher elektrischer Strom erzeugt wird. Die Stärke

dieses Stroms ändert sich entsprechend der in der

Blutprobe vorhandenen Glukose. Ihr Messgerät misst

die Stromstärke, berechnet Ihren BZ-Spiegel, zeigt das

BZ-Ergebnis an und legt es im Speicher ab.
