Bedoeld gebruik
Het OneTouch® Verio®IQ bloedglucosesysteem is bedoeld
om te worden gebruikt voor de kwantitatieve meting
van glucose (suiker) in vers capillair volbloed, dat uit de
vingertop wordt afgenomen. Veneuze volbloedstalen
kunnen door zorgverleners worden gebruikt.
Het OneTouch® Verio®IQ bloedglucosesysteem is bedoeld
om buiten het lichaam voor zelftests te worden gebruikt
(voor in-vitro diagnostiek) door mensen met diabetes in hun
eigen omgeving en om in een klinische omgeving te worden
gebruikt door zorgverleners als hulpmiddel bij het controleren
of de diabetes eectief onder controle wordt gehouden.
Het OneTouch® Verio®IQ bloedglucosecontrolesysteem mag
niet voor de diagnose en screening van diabetes of voor
neonataal gebruik worden gebruikt.
