Beoogd gebruik
Het OneTouchSelect Plus Flex™ bloedglucosesysteem is
bedoeld om te worden gebruikt voor de kwantitatieve meting
van glucose (suiker) een druppel vers capillair vol bloed uit de
vingertoppen. Het systeem is bedoeld voor gebruik bij slechts
één patiënt en mag niet gedeeld worden.
Het OneTouchSelect Plus Flex™ bloedglucosesysteem is
bedoeld om door mensen met diabetes thuis buiten het
lichaam voor zelftests (in-vitro diagnostisch gebruik) te
worden gebruikt en om in een klinische omgeving door artsen/
diabetesverpleegkundigen te worden gebruikt als hulpmiddel
bij het controleren of de diabetes eectief onder controle wordt
gehouden.
Het OneTouchSelect Plus Flex™ bloedglucosesysteem mag niet
gebruikt worden voor de diagnose of opsporing van diabetes
en evenmin bij pasgeborenen.
Het OneTouchSelect Plus Flex™ bloedglucosesysteem mag niet
gebruikt worden bij ernstig zieke patiënten, patiënten die in
shock of uitgedroogd zijn of bij hyperosmolaire patiënten.
