wir gratulieren Ihnen zum Erwerb Ihres Klarstein Gerätes. Lesen Sie die folgenden Anschluss- und

Anwendungshinweise sorgfältig durch und befolgen Sie diese, um möglichen technischen Schäden

vorzubeugen. Für Schäden, die durch Missachtung der Sicherheitshinweise und unsachgemäßen Ge-

brauch entstehen, übernehmen wir keine Haftung.

Sicherheitshinweise

• Das Produkt ist nur für den Hausgebrauch vorgesehen.

• Verbinden Sie bitte das Gerät mit einer Steckdose mit einer Wechselspannung von 220V bis 240V,

wie auf dem Typenschild angegeben.

• Schalten Sie immer das Produkt in die Position OFF und ziehen Sie es aus der Steckdose, wenn

Sie es länger nicht verwenden.

• Lassen Sie das Stromkabel nicht unter Teppichböden verlaufen oder decken es mit Fußmatten,

Läufern oder dergleichen ab. Verlegen Sie das Kabel nicht in den Gehbereich, sondern dort, wo

nicht darüber gestolpert werden kann.

• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht mit einem beschädigten Kabel oder Stecker oder nach Fehlfunktio-

nen, z.B. nachdem es fallen gelassen oder auf eine andere Art und Weise beschädigt wurde.

• Wenn das Anschlusskabel beschädigt ist, wenden Sie sich an unseren Kundendienst oder lassen

Sie das Kabel von einem ausgebildeten Fachmann oder in einer Fachwerkstatt tauschen.

• Verwenden Sie das Gerät in einem gut belüfteten Bereich. Bei der Verwendung soll der Abstand

von der Wand oder einer Ecke nicht weniger als 20cm sein, damit die Lufteinlässe oder Abluft-

önungen nicht versperrt werden. Das Gerät darf sich nicht unmittelbar unter oder neben einem

Vorhang oder ähnlichem benden.

• Stecken Sie während des Betriebs, um Gefahren zu vermeiden keine Finger oder andere Gegen-

stände in den Grill. Blockieren Sie nicht die Lufteinlässe oder Abluftönungen auf irgendeine Art

und Weise.

• Fülllen Sie nicht mehr Wasser in den Tank, als die Markierung für maximalen Wasserstand erlaubt.

Füllen Sie kein Wasser ein- bzw. nach, wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist.

• Wenn Sie das Produkt mit dem Wasser in dem Tank bewegen möchten, stecken Sie es aus der

Steckdose und rollen Sie es nur langsam zu dem neuen Ort, so dass kein Wasser verschüttet wird.

• Halten Sie den Kühlakku von Kindern fern; die chemische Substanz darin ist bei Verschlucken

schädlich. Stellen Sie außerdem sicher, dass der Kühlakku nicht in direkter Sonneneinstrahlung

liegt. Der Kühlakku kann über 5 Jahre verwendet werden. Bei einer Verschrottung des Gerätes

befolgen Sie die Vorschriften über die Entsorgung von Kühlgeräten.

• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur auf dem ebenen, trockenen Boden.

• Seien Sie bitte vorsichtig, wenn das Gerät von oder in der Nähe von den Kindern, Körperbehin-

derten oder Alten verwendet wird. Dieses Gerät darf von Personen (einschließlich Kindern) mit

eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten nur nach ausführlicher Ein-

weisung benutzt werden.

• Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

Bedienung

Achten Sie bitte bei der Verwendung des Gerätes darauf, dass es sich auf einer ebenen und harten

Oberäche bendet. Wenn es auf einer Steigung oder Neigung aufgestellt wird, kann es beschädigt

werden. Legen Sie nun bitte den Eisbehälter in den Wassertank:

Stecken Sie den Stecker direkt in die Standard-AC-Steckdose. Achten Sie darauf, dass der Stecker

fest in der Steckdose steckt.

Drücken Sie „Vane“, um den Bereich vergrößern möchten, den das Gebläse überstreicht. Die inneren,

vertikalen Lamellen schwenken nun im Takt einiger Sekunden. Schieben Sie die horizontalen Lamel-

len nach oben oder unten; so können Sie die Windrichtung manuell verändern.

Die Kühlfunktion („Cool“) kann nur zugeschaltet werden, wenn der Ventilator in Betrieb ist.

• Bevor Sie das Gerät im Kühlmodus betreiben, prüfen Sie die ordnungsgemäße Position des Was-

sertanks. Dann füllen Sie sauberes, kaltes Wasser ein. Beachten Sie bitte die Wasserstandan-

zeige, um eine Überfüllung zu vermeiden. Drücken Sie den Knopf „Cool“ nach dem Einfüllen des

Wassers, und das Gerät beginnt, kühlere Luft zu blasen.

• Zur Steigerung des Kühleekts können Sie zusätzlich den Kühlakku in den Wassertank legen.

Hinweise: Vor der Verwendung des Kühlakkus müssen Sie den Deckel abnehmen und sauberes,

kaltes Wasser einfüllen, bis der maximale Wasserstand erreicht ist. Stecken Sie den Deckel wie-

der auf, und legen Sie den Kühlakku für 1 bis 2 Stunden in das Gefrierfach Ihres Kühlschrankes

oder in einen Gefrierschrank, bis das Wasser komplett gefroren ist.

• Für eine Reinigung ziehen Sie den Wassertank immer heraus. Seien Sie vorsichtig, um den An-

saugstutzen nicht abzubrechen.

Ausbau des Wabenverdunsters

für Reinigungszwecke:

1. Ziehen Sie bitte den Luftlter nach oben heraus.

2. Drehen Sie den kleinen Hebel nach oben.

3. Entfernen Sie den Wabenverdunster.

4. Reinigen Sie Luftlter und Wabenverdunster mit

warmem Leitungswasser.

Drücken Sie OFF, um das Gerät abzuschalten. Ziehen Sie

zur Sicherheit auch den Stecker aus der Steckdose.

Reinigung und Pege

• Ziehen Sie immer den Stecker aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie den Ventilator zum Stillstand

kommen, bevor sie das Gerät und seine Teile reinigen.

• Reinigen Sie die Außenäche des Gerätes mit einem weichen, leicht feuchten Tuch.

ACHTUNG: Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser! Verwenden Sie keine Reinigungsmit-

tel wie z.B. Wasch- oder Scheuermittel. Lassen Sie den Innenraum nicht durch Überlaufen

nass werden, da dies zu einem Stromschlag führen kann.

• Nach spätestens einer Woche Verwendung sollten Sie das Wasser im Tank durch frisches, sau-

beres Wasser ersetzen. Denken Sie auch daran, den Filter zu reinigen, indem Sie den Filter aus-

schrauben und die Filterwiege abbauen. Dieser sollte mit milder Seifenlösung gereinigt werden

und danach erst wieder eingesetzt werden, wenn er trocken ist.

• Wenn das Gerät nicht in Betrieb ist, stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie es aus der Steckdose herausziehen,

das Wasser entleert ist und es wieder in seinem ursprünglichen Aufbewahrungskasten gelegt wird,

bevor es später verwendet wird.

• Bei einer Betriebsstörung versuchen Sie nicht, den Lüfter selbst zu reparieren. Dies kann zu einem

Brand oder einem Stromschlag führen.

Hinweise zur Entsorgung

Be ndet sich die linke Abbildung (durchgestrichene Mülltonne auf Rädern) auf dem

Produkt, gilt die Europäische Richtlinie 2012/19/EU. Diese Produkte dürfen nicht

mit dem normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Informieren Sie sich über die örtli-

chen Regelungen zur getrennten Sammlung elektrischer und elektronischer Gerät-

schaften. Richten Sie sich nach den örtlichen Regelungen und entsorgen Sie Altge-

Congratulations on purchasing this product. Please read and follow these instructions, in order to

avoid damaging the item. We do not cover any damages that may arise from improper use of the

item or the disregard of the safety instructions.

Safety Instructions

• The product is for household use only.

• Connect the appliance to single-phase AC supply of the voltage specied on the rating label.

• Always turn the product to the OFF position and unplug it from the electrical outlet when not in

use.

• Extreme caution is necessary when the appliance is near children, invalids or elderly person.

• Do not run cord under carpeting and do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners or the like. Ar-

range cord away from trac area and where it will not be tripped over.

• Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the unit malfunctions, has

been dropped, or damaged in any manner.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a

similarly qualied person to avoid a hazard.

• Use the appliance in a well-ventilated area. While using, distance of no less than 20cm should be

kept away from wall or corner to ensure the air intakes or exhaust openings should not be blocked

unexpectedly. The unit must not be located immediately below or besides a curtain or the likes.

• Do not insert or allow ngers or any other objects into grill to avoid a mechanical danger when in

use. Do not block air intakes or exhaust openings in any manner.

• Adequate clean water should be put into the tank within the water level limits as shown by the

water level indicator. Make sure that you DO NOT add water whilst the power is on.

• If you want to move the product whilst water is in the tank, unplug it and push it slowly and very

lightly on the side of the unit to avoid water spillage. The best method would be to drain the unit

using the valve at the bottom of the unit.

• Please keep the ice pack box provided away from children, as it is a chemical based substance that

is harmful if swallowed. Also make sure that the ice pack is not placed in direct sunshine. The ice

pack can be used over 5 years. When scrapping the appliance, follow the regulations concerning

the disposal of ice packs.

• Use the appliance on at, dry oor only.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sen-

sory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given

supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

When using the appliance, make sure that it is on a  at and stable surface. Damage may occur if it

does not stand properly.

Fill the water tank:

Insert the plug directly into a standard AC socket-outlet. Be sure the plug  ts tightly into outlet.

Turn the timer knob to ON position.

Press the LO/MI/HI buttons to set the desired fan speed (Low/Medium/High).

If you want to enlarge the blast area in your room, press the VANE button, the fan will blast your

room in large scope. To stop oscillating, just press the VANE button again. Moving the horizontal

louvers either up or down can make further wind direction enhancements.

Cool button: The cooling function can only be set with the fan operating.

• Before operating the unit in Cool mode, make sure that water tank is properly  xed. Then pro-

ceed to add clean water into the water tank. While adding the water, make sure that you keep an

eye on the water level indicator to make sure that you do not OVER or UNDER FILL the unit. Press

the button Cool after you have added the water and the unit should commence to blow cooler air.

• If you  nd that the air after Step 1 is still not cool enough, you can add additional ice block into

the water tank or ice basket directly by drawing out the water tank. Be sure not to exceed the

water tank capacity otherwise damage to the unit or electric shock may occur.

Note: Before using ice cubes,  rstly you must remove the lid from the ice cubes box and add clean

water into the ice pack box until reaching the water level scale, then turn the lid back to the ice cubes

box and wait for 15 minutes; secondly you should place it in your refrigerator and let the ice cubes

freeze for 1 to 2 hours.

You may pull out the water tank completely, then replace water in the water tank or clean water tank.

How to disassemble the dust-proof bracket and honeycomb lter

To turn o the unit just press the button OFF.

To completely shut the unit o, turn all the controls to OFF, and remove plug from the socket-outlet.

Maintenance

• Always remove the plug from the socket-outlet and allow the fan blower to stop acting before

clean it.

• Clean the external surfaces of the unit with a soft damp (not dripping wet) cloth.

WARNING:

• Do not immerse the unit in water.

• Do not use any cleaning chemicals such as detergents and abrasives.

• Do not allow the interior (especially the PCB) to get wet as this could create a hazard.

• After extended periods of use, be sure to replace the water in the tank with fresh clean water at

least weekly. Also remember to clean the lter by unscrewing the lter and removing the lter

cradle. It should be cleaned in a mild soapy solution and then left to dry before replacing the lter.

• When the unit is not in use, make sure that it is unplugged from the wall socket, water is drained

thoroughly and it is placed back into its original box for storage until later use.

• In case of malfunction or doubt, do not try to repair the fan yourself, it may result in a re hazard

or electric shock.

According to the European waste regulation 2002/96/EG this symbol on the product

te. Instead it should be taken to the appropriate collection point for the recycling of

electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring this product is disposed of correct-

Utilisation

Veillez à ce que l‘appareil se trouve sur une surface plane et dire. Si la surface est en inclinée,

l‘appareil peut s‘en trouver endommager. Insérez à présent la glace dans le réservoir d‘eau.

Insérez la prise courant directement dans votre prise murale. Assurez-vous que la prise soit bien

insérée.

Appuyez sur «Vane» pour élargir l‘espace de ventilation. Les lamelles internes verticales s‘activent

alors chaque seconde. Faites glisser les lamelles horizontales vers le haut ou le bas de sorte à orien-

ter le courant d‘air.

La fonction refroidissement (Cool) ne peut être activée que si le ventilateur est en marche.

• Avant d‘activer la fonction refroidissement, assurez-vous que le réservoir d‘eau soit bien en place

et que l‘ori ce de vidange du réservoir soit bien verrouillé. Introduisez ensuite l‘eau claire et fro-

ide en respectant la marque maximale. Puis appuyez sur «Cool». L‘apareil souﬄ e alors de l‘air

frais.

• Pour un air encore plus frais, utilisez le pad réfrigérant en le plongeant dans l‘eau.

Remarque : Avant d‘utiliser le pad réfrigérant, retirer le couvercle et remplissez-le d‘eau claire et

froide jusqu‘à la marque limite indiquée. Refermez-le et laissez le pad pendant 1 ou 2 heures au réf-

rigérateur jusqu‘à ce que l‘eau soit complètement congelée.

Avant de nettoyer l‘appareil, retirez toujours le réservoir d‘eau en priorité. Soyez prudent et faites

attention à ne pas casser ses supports ventouses.

Démontage de l‘évaporateur pour le nettoyage :

1. Retirez le ltre à air en le faisant glisser vers le haut.

2. Poussez le petit levier vers le haut.

3. Retirez l‘évaporateur.

4. Nettoyez le ltre à air à l‘eau courante.

Appuyez sur OFF pour éteindre l‘appareil. Par mesure de sécuriré, débranchez-le.

Entretien

Débranchez toujours l‘appareil et attendez qu‘il soit complètement arrêté avant de le nettoyer.

Nettoyez la surface extérieure de l‘appareil avec un tissu légèrement humide et doux.

ATTENTION :

Ne plongez jamais l‘appareil sous l‘eau ! N‘utilisez pas de produits de nettoyage corrosif.

Assurez-vous que la partie intérieure soit bien sèche sans quoi un court circuit pourrait se

produire.

• Après maximum une semaine, il vous faut changer l‘eau du réservoir. Pensez également à nettoy-

er le ltre, en le dévissant et en le démontant. Nettoyez-le avec un peu de savon doux et laissez-le

sécher avant de le remonter.

• Lorsque l‘appareil n‘est pas en fonctionnement, assurez-vous qu‘il soit débranché, que le réservoir

soit vide. Rangez-le dans sa boîte si vous ne comptez pas l‘utiliser pendant longtemps.

• En cas de malfonctionnement, n‘essayez pas de le réparer par vous-même – risque d‘incendie et

d‘électrocution!

Informations sur le recyclage

Vous trouverez sur le produit l’image ci-contre (une poubelle sur roues, barrée

d‘une croix), ce qui indique que le produit se trouve soumis à la directive euro-

péenne 2002/96/CE. Renseignez-vous sur les dispositions en vigueur dans votre

région concernant la collecte séparée des appareils électriques et électroniques.

Respectez-les et ne jetez pas les appareils usagés avec les ordures ménagères. La
