PRUEBA DE FUNCIONAMIENTO Y MODOS DE
OPERACIÓN
Probar aparato
Pruebe el aparato manteniendo pulsado el botón de prueba durante un
mínimo de 5 segundos. Esto activa una alarma cuando el circuito electrónico,
la sirena y la batería funcionan. Si no suena ninguna alarma, es posible que el
aparato o las pilas estén defectuosos. NO use una llama abierta para probar su
alarma, esto puede dañar el aparato. Le recomendamos que pruebe la unidad
semanalmente.
Modo de espera
El LED rojo de la parte frontal debe parpadear cada 32 segundos para indicar
que la alarma está activa.
Modo de alarma
En cuanto el dispositivo detecta partículas de humo, suena la sirena y el
LED rojo parpadea una vez por segundo. El LED parpadeante y la alarma se
mantienen hasta que el aire esté libre de partículas de humo. El aparato vuelve
a estar en modo de espera.
Modo de aviso de la batería
Si el detector de humos entra en un estado de batería baja, el aparato emitirá
un sonido audible cada 32 segundos. En este caso, debe sustituir la batería
inmediatamente. Si no cambia la pila, es posible que su detector de humo no
tenga suciente potencia para avisarle en una situación de incendio real.
Modo de error
El tono de alarma o un pitido suenan cada 32 segundos sin razón aparente (ver
"Solución de problemas").
