Belangrijke veiligheidsinformatie
Raadpleeg uw arts bij zwangerschap, aritmie of arteriosclerose.
Wijzig nooit de dosis van door uw arts voorgeschreven medica-
tie.
Bij mensen met een slechte perifere doorbloeding kunnen de
polsmetingen afwijken van metingen die aan de bovenarm zijn
verricht.
Gebruik de OMRON R3 Intellisense alleen voor uzelf.
Let op:
• Zelfdiagnose en -behandeling op basis van meetresultaten is
gevaarlijk. Volg de aanwijzingen van uw arts.
• Laat de meter niet zonder toezicht bij kinderen of personen die
geen instemming kunnen geven.
• Gebruik de meter uitsluitend voor het meten van de bloeddruk.
• Gebruik in de buurt van de meter geen mobiele telefoons of
andere apparaten die elektromagnetische velden afgeven. Dit
kan een onjuiste werking van de meter tot gevolg hebben.
• Gebruik de meter niet in een bewegend voertuig (auto, vlieg-
tuig).
• Haal de meter en de polsmanchet niet uit elkaar.
• Batterijen kunnen vloeistof lekken en de hoofdeenheid
beschadigen. Neem de volgende punten in acht.
- Plaats de batterijen met de polariteit in de juiste positie.
- Haal de batterijen uit de meter als deze gedurende een langere
periode (circa drie maanden of langer) niet wordt gebruikt.
- Vervang oude batterijen direct door nieuwe.
- Gebruik geen verschillende soorten batterijen tegelijk.
- Gebruik geen oude en nieuwe batterijen tegelijk.
• Verricht geen metingen als de manchet niet om uw pols is
gewonden.
• Stel de meter niet bloot aan sterke schokken of vibraties. Laat
de meter niet vallen.
Bewaar deze aanwijzingen voor latere naslag.
