1 Lock release button

Attaching/Removing the Viewfinder (Figure 2)
1 Turn off the camera.
2 Slide off the hot shoe cover.
3 Remove the connector cover while pressing the
lock release button, and insert the viewfinder into
the hot shoe of the camera until it stops.
4 When removing the viewfinder, turn off the power
of the camera and remove the viewfinder while
pressing the lock release button.
Using the Viewfinder (Figure 3)
1 Turn on the camera.
2 Turn the diopter adjustment dial to a position
where the image on the viewfinder can be
seen clearly.
3 Adjust the viewfinder to your preferred angle
(up to 90 degrees).
The display switches between the LCD
monitor and viewfinder with every press of the
display switch button (u).
Warnings: Safety Precautions
When carrying the camera, do not hold it by
the electronic viewfinder.
You cannot use the viewfinder in combination with
other accessories attached to the hot shoe.
Do not expose the inside to sunlight directly
through the eye lens.
Brighter or darker dots or an image previously
displayed may be found. However, it does not
mean that it is broken.
