3. Installing the digital camera
Check the digital camera.
Check the digital camera before loading it in the Case.
Battery Confirmation
Underwater shooting can reduce battery life because the picture has to be checked on the LCD monitor
before and after shooting. Make sure that you have sufficient remaining battery capacity before use.
Check the remaining number of pictures
Check that the image storage medium has enough room for the number of pictures you want to take.
Note:
In order to avoid missing photo opportunities due to an exhausted battery, you should always have a fully
charged battery before each dive.
Remove the strap, strap suspension
crowns, and lens cap from the camera.
Be sure that the strap, strap suspension crowns,
and/or lens cap are not attached to the digital
camera. If any of these items are attached, be sure
to remove them.
CAUTION:
If the digital camera is loaded without removing the strap, strap suspension crowns and lens cap, the Case
cannot be sealed properly and may leak.
Handle the digital camera carefully when removing the strap, strap suspension crowns and lens cap.
Olympus does not assume any liability for damage incurred if the camera is dropped.
Remove the eyecup from the digital
camera.
The Case allows you compose your shots in the
pickup viewfinder.
To improve the view of the pickup viewfinder,
remove the camera’s eyecup before loading it in the
Case.
CAUTION:
Be sure to remove the eyecup before loading the digital camera.
Otherwise, the rear lid of the Case cannot be closed tightly causing water leakage.
