Even when [FACE DETECT] is set, faces may not be detected depending on the subject.
When activated [ON], the camera will record about 4 seconds of
audio after the picture is taken.
When recording, aim the camera microphone at the source of
the sound you want to record.
Select to ON/OFF the image stabilization function.
The default settings for [IMAGE STABILIZER] (still picture) and [DIS MOVIE MODE] (movie)
are set to [ON] and [OFF] respectively.
When taking pictures with the camera stabilized (using a tripod), set to [OFF].
Images may be blurry if the camera is severely shaken.
At very slow shutter speeds (for example when using still picture shooting mode or taking
night photographs), some images may not acquire the proper stabilization effect.
When [DIS MOVIE MODE] (movie) is set to [ON] during shooting, the recorded images will
be slightly magnified.
This function allows you to turn off operational sounds that occur during shooting and
playback, warning beeps, shutter sounds, etc.
