Using the Menus
Use the menus to adjust settings for ease of use.
1 Press the MENU/ (G) button.
• The menu will be displayed.

(AF illuminator) Auto The camera controls the AF illuminator.
Off AF illuminator off.
LED Mode
(LED light mode)
Auto The LED light lights automatically during
movie recording.
Manual The LED light (I) button turns the LED light
on and off.
Off LED light off.
LED Brightness
(LED light
brightness)
1/1 – 1/32
(Default: 1/8) Adjust LED brightness.
Front Charge Ind.
(charge indicator)
Auto The LED light blinks when the fl ash is ready
for use ([RC], [SL AUTO], and [SL MANUAL]
modes only).
Off Charge indicator disabled; the LED light does
not blink when the fl ash is ready for use.
Back Light Mode
(backlight mode)
Auto The backlight turns on when fl ash controls
are used.
On The backlight remains on at all times.
Off Backlight off.
Back Light Timer
(auto off timer) 1s – 15s
(Default: 5s)
Choose the time (in seconds) before the
backlight turns off automatically when no
operations are performed.
