Beelden overbrengen naar een computer

* Ook wanneer uw computer over een USB-connector beschikt, is het toch nog

mogelijk dat de dataoverdracht niet goed functioneert als u met een van de hieronder

opgesomde besturingssystemen werkt of een losse USB uitbreidingskaart gebruikt.

• Windows 95 / NT 4.0.

• Windows 98 / 98 SE opgewaardeerd vanuit Windows 95.

• Mac OS 8.6 of lager (met uitzondering van Mac OS 8.6 uitgerust met door de fabriek

geïnstalleerde USB MASS Storage 1.3.5).

• Dataoverdracht wordt ook niet gegarandeerd voor zelf gebouwde PC’s of PC’s

waarvan het besturingssysteem niet door de fabrikant geïnstalleerd werd.

Door uw camera met het bij de camera geleverde USB-kabeltje aan te sluiten op een

computer kunt u de op een kaartje opgeslagen beelden overbrengen naar een com-

puter. Bij sommige besturingssystemen heeft u een speciale instelling nodig wanneer

u de camera voor het eerst op een computer aansluit. Om te bepalen wat voor uw

situatie van toepassing is, raadpleegt u onderstaand schema. Voor details over de in

het schema geschetste procedures raadpleegt u de “Reference Manual” op de

CD-ROM en de “Software Installation Guide“ (bijgesloten in het CD-ROM pakket).

• U kunt de beelden bekijken met grafische toepassingen die het bestand-

stype JPEG ondersteunen (Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, enzovoort),

Internet browsers (Netscape Communicator, Microsoft Internet Explorer,

enzovoort); CAMEDIA Master software, of andere software. Voor de

details van het gebruik van commerciële grafische toepassingen,

raadpleegt u de daarbij behorende handleidingen.

• Om filmbeelden weer te geven, heeft u het programma QuickTime

nodig zoals dat voorkomt op de bij de camera geleverde software-CD.

• Om beelden te bewerken, moet u die eerst naar uw computer over-

brengen. Bewerkt u beelden (roteren, enzovoort) terwijl ze op een

kaartje opgeslagen zijn dan is het, bepaald door de software, mogelijk

dat die beelden verloren gaan.
