General Information
Low battery capacity Z The battery must be recharged when there are no longer any lines in the battery icon.
Range Interference noise occurs when the handset is moved too far from the base station. Move nearer to the base station
in order to continue the call without any disturbance. If you move outside the range of the base station, the message
Range Out appears in the display.
CLIP operation If calls have been received during your absence, they are stored in the CLIP memory when the telephone network
provider has enabled this function. The CLIP memory collates the Missed calls list.
Appointment option It is possible enter to a scheduled appointment. The appointment message can be defined to occur daily, monthly or
annually. The message can contain up to 50 characters. In addition to displaying the message, it is also possible to
select an acoustic signal to accompany the message.
VIP filter
Select Ring = Off in the menu.
Select Ext. Ring Tone − VIP Filter = On in the menu.
The handset then only rings when calls are received whose CLIP is identical to a VIP entry in the phone book.
A condition for this function is that your telephone network provider has enabled the CLIP function.
Private number filter
Select Ext. Ring Tone − Priv.No.Filter = On in the menu.
Subsequently, the handset does ring in the case of calls whose numbers are not transmitted.

Direct call
Select H/Set Setting − Direct Call in the menu.
The handset then rings a phone number you have previously defined regardless of the key that you press.
Room monitoring
Select H/Set Setting − Babysit = On in the menu.
After dialling the other handset for an internal call, a connection is automatically established.
A condition for this function is that a second handset is registered on the base station.
Automatic dialling pause
Some PBX networks require a dialling pause is entered after the number to obtain an outside line. The Auto. Pause
function inserts such a pause following the number defined to obtain an outside line (e.g.: 0 or 9).
