If the unit is serviced by unqualied persons this can result in damage to the unit and possibly
create unsafe conditions and could result in warranty claims being denied and/or void the unit’s
remaining warranty.
FAULTS POSSIBLE CAUSES SOLUTIONS
The unit does not
turn on.
No power supply
Check the main power. If the unit is plugged
into a wall outlet verify voltage is present by
plugging in another device, such as a lamp.
The power switch is in the “O” position.
Check if the master switch is off
Check if a fuse is blown. If so, replace it with
one of the same size.
If the unit is protected by a circuit breaker
check if it has tripped. If so, reset it.
NOTE: Should the fuse blow again or if the
breaker trips again DO NOT attempt to run the
unit.Contactaqualiedservicetechnician.
Move the power switch on the unit to the “I”
position (10). Fig.34
The remote control’s batteries need to be
replaced.
When the batteries are dead, no messages
are displayed on the remote control, and the
unit’s reception conrmation sound will not
work when you attempt to issue a command.
If this is the case, replace the batteries.
The unit does
not cool or heat
adequately.
The temperature set on the remote control
is either too high or too low.
Check the temperature setting on the remote
control and correct it if necessary.
Theairlterisdirtyeventhoughthecleaning
LEDs timer has not yet expired. Checktheairlterandcleanifnecessary.
Indoororoutdoorairowisbeingblocked. Remove anything blocking the inlet or output
airow.
The heating/cooling load has increased.
For example, a door or a window was let
open or other heat producing devices
have been introduced to the space.
Decrease the load by closing the window or
door. Or remove any heat producing devices
that are adding to the load.
