DANGER to burn injuries!
The sieve holder, the sieve and the brewing unit are hot after rinsing and after preparing espresso. Hold the hot filter holder by the
handle only and allow all parts to cool down before touching them.
1. Now turn the handle in the opposite direction, to the left, from the closed lock to the open lock,
2. The sieve holder detaches from the machine and lowers slightly.
Switching the machine on and off
DANGER of electric shock!
Only connect the appliance to an easily accessible socket outlet with protective earth, whose voltage corresponds to the information
on the rating plate. The socket must remain easily accessible even after connection.
1. Before switching on the machine, check that the steam supply dial is set to the "-" position.
2. Also check that the espresso keys and the steam button on the front of the machine are switched off, not pressed.
3. Insert the plug into the socket
4. Press the on/off button where the blue LED light comes on. The 2 blue LED lights under the setting buttons for single or
double espresso will flash.
The machine will now start heating up, with the pointer in the temperature indicator rising. When the blue LED lights stop flashing,
the machine is warmed up and ready to use.
5. When you want to switch the machine off again, press the on/off button again, the blue LED lights go out and the
machine is switched off.
•The machine is set so that if it is left on for a longer period of time, it will heat up again from time to time. At this point, the
blue LED lights of the single and double espresso buttons will start flashing again. If you want to make an espresso, wait until
the LEDs stop flashing.
•After 30 minutes of non-use, the machine will automatically switch off. To switch it on again, press the on/off button.
Under what circumstances can you do this?
- -Make sure the appliance is ready for use. Whereby the blue LED indicator lights of both espresso options (single and double)
are on continuously.
-The toom adjustment dial is in the "-" position
1. Put fresh water in the water tank
2. Place a collection tray under the end of the steam pipe
3. Turn the dial of the steam pipe to the "+" at the symbol
