12. Microwave heating of beverages can result in delayed
eruptive boiling, therefore care must be taken when
handling the container.
13. The contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars shall
be stirred or shaken and the temperature checked before
consumption, in order to avoid burns.
14. Eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not
be heated in microwave ovens since they may explode,
even after microwave heating has ended.
15. The oven has to be cleaned regularly and any food deposits
must be removed.
16. Failure to maintain the oven in a clean condition could lead
to deterioration of the surface that could adversely aect
the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous
situation.
17. The microwave oven is only allowed to be used as a free-
standing device. The device is not suitable for mounting in
furniture such as cupboards and is therefore not allowed to
be used in built-in furniture.
18. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied persons
in order to avoid a possible hazard.
19. The microwave oven is intended for warming food and
drinks. The drying of food or clothes and the warming of
heating pads (incl. kernel lled pillows), slippers, sponges,
damp cleaning cloths and similar can lead to injuries,
inammation or re.
20. The product is designed for the preparation of normal
household quantities in the home, or in household-
like, non-commercial environments. Household-like
environments include sta kitchens in shops, oces,
agricultural and other small businesses or for use by guests
at bed-and-breakfast establishments, small hotels and
similar residential facilities.
21. Warning! This product is not intended to be operated by
means of an external timer or separate remote-control
system.
