INSTALLATION
Note: The dishwasher is equipped with power cord and plug. Make sure before installation, that a
suitable mains outlet is at the desired place of installation.
Consider the dimension of the product for placing and installation.
1 Place the dishwasher on an even, horizontal and steady surface, e.g. place it on a suitable desk in
your kitchen.
Note: The dishwasher is not intended to be built in.
2 The dishwasher must be connected to drainage.
1. The hose is already connected the waste water outlet, at the back of the product. Cut the straps
and unwind the hose.
2. Connect the end to a drainpipe. Observe the max. height of the outlet of drainage hose.
Note:
A suitable hose holder is available as optional accessories.
3 Connect the water inlet to a tap water supply (3/4”) using the provided hose and make sure it is
correctly sealed and fasten tightly.
Note: If the water pipes are new or have not been used for an extended period of time, let
the water run for some time, to make sure that the water is clear and free of impurities. If this
precaution is not taken, there is a risk that the water inlet can get blocked and the appliance might
be damaged.
4 Connect the power plug to the mains.
Note: Before using the product for the rst time, make sure that all hydrophilic connections of the
product are correctly sealed and connected to both the device as well as the water mains. Check all
connections periodically to avoid possible leakage.
PREPARATION
5 Filling salt into the salt container
Depending on your tap water hardness (hardness degree) use additional salt (water softener).
Always consider the instruction provided with the salt.
1. Remove the basket and then unscrew and remove the cap from the salt container.
2. Before rst usage, pour 1 lt. of water in the salt container of your machine.
3. Place the end of the funnel (supplied) into the hole and ll in about 1 kg of salt. It is normal for a
small amount of water to come out of the salt container.
4. After lling the container, screw the cap tightly back on in a clockwise direction.
5. Immediately after lling the salt into the salt container, a washing program must be started
(rapid program suggested). Otherwise the lter system, pump or other important components
of the machine may be damaged by the salt, which voids the warranty.
Note: Usually, the salt warning light will be cease to be illuminated within 2-6 days after the salt
container has been lled with salt. Depending on how fully the salt dissolves, the salt warning light
may still be on even though the salt container is lled.
Warning!
Only use salt specically designed for use in dishwashers! All other types of salt not specically
designed for use in a dishwashers, especially table salt, will damage the water softener. In case of
damages caused by the use of unsuitable salt the manufacturer does not give any warranty and is not
liable for any caused damages.
If salt has been spilled, a soak or a rapid program must be run to remove the excess salt.
Only ll in salt just before starting one of the complete washing programs. This will prevent any grains
of salt or salty water, which may have been spilt, remaining of the bottom of the machine for any
period of time, which may cause corrosion.
The salt container must only be relled when the salt warning light in the control panel comes on.
