21. This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and person with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they are
being supervised, or have received instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be carried out by children
without supervision.
22. Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance. Children
must be supervised around the unit at all times.
23. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
24. Prior to cleaning as well as any other
maintenance, the appliance must be
disconnected from the supply mains.
25. Do not remove any fixed covers or components.
Never use this appliance if it is not working
properly, or if it has been dropped or damaged.
26. Do not run the power supply cord under
carpeting. Do not cover it with throw rugs,
runners, or similar coverings, to avoid creating
a hidden tripping hazard. Do not route it under
furniture or appliances. Keep it away from areas
that are frequently entered and make sure it will
not be tripped over.
27. Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord,
plug, power fuse or circuit breaker. Discard the
unit or return it to an authorized service facility
for examination and/or repair.
28. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not
use the device with any solid-state speed control
device.
