HÖHENMESSUNG UND EINSTELLUNG
Vor dem ersten Tauchgang einer Reihe von Wiederholungstauchgängen wird nach der
Aktivierung und alle 15 Minuten die HÖHE (d. h. der Umgebungsdruck) gemessen, bis ein
Tauchgang begonnen wird.
> Die Messungen finden nach dem Auftauchen innerhalb der ersten 24 Stunden alle
15 Minuten statt.
> Messungen werden nur vorgenommen, wenn die Einheit trocken ist.
> Es werden zwei Messungen genommen, die zweite erfolgt 5 Sekunden nach der ersten.
Die Messungen müssen beide in einem Bereich von 30 cm (1 ft.) erfolgen, damit der
Umgebungsdruck als die aktuelle HÖHE berücksichtigt wird.
Das mathematische Modell der DataMask basiert für die reduzierten Nullzeit-Tauchzeiten auf
den Richtlinien der National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Beim Tauchen in Gewässern auf Höhen von 611 bis 4.270 m.ü.M. (2.001 bis 14.000 ft.)
passt die DataMask die Berechnungen an und liefert die korrekten Werte für die Tiefe, die
verminderten Nullzeiten und reduzierten Sauerstoffsättigungszeiten in Intervallen von 305 m
(1.000 ft.).
> Auf einer Höhe von 611 m (2.001 ft.) wechselt die Tiefenkalibrierung automatisch
von Meter (ft.) Meereswasser auf Meter (ft.) Süßwasser. Das ist die erste Anpassung im
Algorithmus.
> Solange die Wasserkontakte nass sind, werden keinerlei Anpassungen vorgenommen.
