6.3 Instalación del anillo de velocidad de
entrada
1. Los sistemas Harmony compatibles con
correas disponen de un anillo de velocidad
de entrada (A), que ha de colocarse
en el anillo de retención del piñón
ensamblado (B). Los doce imanes del anillo
de velocidad de entrada suministran la
cadencia del pedaleo al sistema Harmony.

Los sistemas Harmony de solo cade-
na no utilizan el anillo de velocidad
de entrada, ya que detectan la velo-
cidad de entrada directamente a través del
piñón en cadena de acero. Si no está seguro
del sistema que la bicicleta tenía instalado de
fábrica, véase la sección 8.5.

MONTAJE DE LOS COMPONENTES DE HARMONY
2. Después de instalar el piñón (C), el
separador de piñones (D, si fuera
necesario) y el anillo de retención del
piñón (B, véase la sección 6.2), y antes de
montar la interfaz del cojinete Harmony
(véase la sección 6.6), instale el anillo de
velocidad de entrada (A) sobre el anillo de
retención del piñón ensamblado (B)
• Móntelo con los imanes dirigidos al piñón,
tal y como se muestra en la imagen.
• Alinee el «diente» del anillo de velocidad
de entrada con la abertura del anillo de
retención del piñón (E), tal y como se
muestra en la imagen.
• Encaje y asegure el anillo de velocidad
de entrada sobre el anillo de retención del
piñón ensamblado.
