Check whether ironing-instruction

observe any such instructions.
The filling aperture of the water
reservoir must not be opened during
use.
Make sure that the appliance can not
fall when you place the iron on the
holder.
Dry ironing
1 Fill the water reservoir (No.6).
2 Put the iron on the steam generator’s
holder (No.5) and turn steam quantity
knob to "Min" position.
3 Put the plug in the wall socket.
4 Turn on the ON/OFF switch and turn the
iron's temperature-control dial (No.2) to
adjust the temperature to the required
setting. The iron starts heating.

Steam ironing
This steam iron has an energy saving
design for the steam function. This means
that the water is not heated up
continuously, but only when steam is really
needed. The flow system for the steam
requires therefore a warm up time of a few
seconds after pressing the steam button.
When the button is released the system
needs about 5 seconds to cool-down and
stop generating steam.
We advice to use the steam button as a
pulse button during ironing and press the
button short or long according the steam
need.
1 Fill the water reservoir. Make sure that
there is enough water in the water
reservoir.
2 Put the iron on the steam generator’s
holder.
3 Put the plug in the wall socket and turn
on the on/off switch.
4 Turn the temperature-control dial to
adjust the temperature to the required
setting. The iron starts heating.
5 Press the steam control button to pump
the water. The generator will heat the
water. Once the water has reached the
required temperature, the indicator light
“steam ready” will illuminate.
During first use or reuse after a long
period, you should keep pressing the
steam control button for several
minutes to pump enough water into
the steam generator.
6 Adjust the quantity of steam to the
required level by turning the steam
quantity knob (No.8) to the desired
position.
7 Adjust the temperature by turning the
iron’s temperature-control dial to the
required setting. Adjust the temperature
in accordance with the directions given
in table 1.
8 The temperature indicator light on the
iron is illuminated whilst the iron is
heating up, and is extinguished once
the iron has reached the set
temperature. You can now start ironing.
9 Whilst you are ironing you can give a
shot of steam by pressing the iron’s
steam button.
