WAFFLE PRO CLASSIC / WAFFLE PRO Article 130120/130121

These instructions are suitable for the Waffle Pro Classic article 130120 and the Waffle

Pro article 130121.

The Waffle Pro Classic and Waffle Pro are professional waffle irons with solid cast iron

light baking plates. The baking plates are coated with a non–stick layer. The irons are

provided with an easy to operate thermostat and a temperature control lamp. They

also have a grip for easy handling and for gripping sandwiches.

The Waffle Pro Classic has waffle plates 4 x 7 (type PL-101) and the Waffle Pro have waffle

plates 4 x 7 (type PL-101) and sandwich toaster plates (PL-100) as standard. The waffle

plates 6 x 10 (type PL-102) and sandwich toaster plates (PL-100) are available separately.

BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

Read these instruction through in their entirety and keep them for future reference.

Check that the mains voltage in your house corresponds to that of the iron. Connect

this iron only to an earthed socket.

Before using for the first time, carefully wash the plates in warm water with some

detergent added and dry well. There may be some smoke during the first use. This is

normal in the case of new heating elements and the smoke will automatically

disappear after a short time.

CHANGING THE PLATES

• Pull out the locking grip (See figure 1A). Remove the plate from the

housing. The plate is fitted into two holes on the rear side.

• Fix the plate in the reverse order.

USE OF THE APPARATUS

Unwind the lead completely before you insert the plug into the wall socket. Place the

apparatus on a solid and heat–resistant surface. The apparatus can now be opened.

Lightly oil the plates with cooking oil (only the first time and after cleaning). Close the

apparatus and let the plates warm up by adjusting the temperature regulator. The

plates are at the required temperature when the indicator light goes out. Experiment

with the temperature control until you have found the ideal temperature setting.
