Overdrachtssnelheid: De snelheid waarmee de data tussen uw communicator en de
pc worden overgebracht. De beste overdrachtssnelheid voor normale
GSM-gesprekken bedraagt 19200. Voor een verbinding met hoge snelheid
selecteert u 115200. Selecteer dezelfde snelheid in de toepassing die op
de pc wordt uitgevoerd.
Databits: Het aantal bits dat wordt gebruikt om één byte te vormen. Normaal
gezien kunt u hier de standaardoptie, 8, gebruiken.
Pariteit: Een procedure voor de controle van pariteitsfouten. Normaal gezien kunt
u hier de standaardoptie, Geen, gebruiken.
Stopbits: Het aantal stopbits dat wordt gebruikt. Normaal gezien kunt u hier de
standaardoptie, 1, gebruiken.
Datatransportbesturing: Het is raadzaam Software te selecteren. Ook op de pc moet
u deze instelling opgeven.
Tabblad Besturingssysteem
Windows 2000: Als u een ander besturingssysteem dan Windows 2000 gebruikt,
kiest u Nee en drukt u op Gereed. De overige opties op het tabblad worden
grijs weergegeven. Als u Windows 2000 gebruikt, kiest u Ja. Geef
daarnaast ook de volgende verbindingsgegevens op. Deze gegevens wordt
gebruikt door de host-computer die u wilt bellen. Als u niet over
specifieke gegevens beschikt, kunt u proberen de standaardopties te
gebruiken.
Type verbinding: De beschikbare opties zijn Standaard/Hoge snelheid. Standaard is de
standaardoptie.
Type externe modem: De beschikbare opties zijn Analoog/ISDN V.110/ISDN
V.120Analoog is de standaardoptie.
