Dit draadloze apparaat is een 3GPP GSM Release 99-station met ondersteuning voor GPRS
en is ontworpen om ook Release 4 GPRS-netwerken te ondersteunen. Er kunnen echter
compatibiliteitsproblemen optreden wanneer het apparaat wordt gebruikt in sommige
Release 97 GPRS-netwerken. Neem contact op met uw serviceprovider voor meer
informatie.
Dit apparaat ondersteunt WAP 2.0-protocollen (HTTP en SSL) die werken met TCP/IP-
protocollen. Voor de technologie van sommige functies van dit apparaat is
netwerkondersteuning nodig.
■ Gedeeld geheugen
Het apparaat heeft drie verschillende geheugens. Namen, tekstberichten, SMS-e-
mailberichten, spraaklabels, de agenda en notities maken gebruik van het eerste geheugen.
Het tweede gedeelde geheugen wordt gebruikt door multimediaberichten, bestanden die
zijn opgeslagen in de Galerij en configuratie-instellingen. Het derde gedeelde geheugen
wordt gebruikt door de e-mailtoepassing en Java-spelletjes en -toepassingen. Door het
gebruik van een of meer van deze functies is er mogelijk minder geheugen beschikbaar voor
de overige functies die hetzelfde geheugen delen. Als u bijvoorbeeld veel items opslaat in de
Galerij, kan het tweede geheugen hierdoor volledig worden opgebruikt. Uw apparaat kan
een bericht weergeven dat het geheugen vol is wanneer u een functie probeert te gebruiken
die gedeeld geheugen gebruikt. Verwijder in dit geval voordat u doorgaat een gedeelte van
de informatie of registraties die in het betreffende gedeelde geheugen zijn opgeslagen.
