■ Packet-gegevens, HSCSD en CSD
U kunt met uw telefoon de gegevensdiensten GPRS (packet-gegevens),
HSCSD (High Speed Circuit Switched Data) en CSM (Circuit Switched
Data, GSM-gegevens) gebruiken. Informeer bij uw netwerkoperator of
serviceprovider naar de beschikbaarheid en abonnementsmogelijkheden
van gegevensdiensten. Zie Modeminstellingen op pagina 59.
Het gebruik van HSCSD-diensten belast de batterij van de telefoon
zwaarder dan gewone spraak- of gegevensoproepen.
■ Bluetooth
Gebruik Bluetooth-technologie om via uw compatibele laptop
verbinding met het internet te maken. Uw telefoon moet een service-
provider hebben geactiveerd die internettoegang ondersteunt, en uw PC
moet Bluetooth PAN (Personal Area Network) ondersteunen. Nadat u
verbinding heeft gemaakt met de dienst van het netwerktoegangspunt
(NAP) voor de telefoon, en na het koppelen met de pc wordt er door de
telefoon automatisch een GPRS-verbinding met het internet gemaakt.
Om de NAP-dienst van de telefoon te gebruiken hoeft u geen software
van de PC Suite te installeren.

■ Toepassingen voor datacommunicatie
Raadpleeg de bijbehorende documentatie voor meer informatie over het
gebruik van een toepassing voor datacommunicatie.
Tijdens een pc-verbinding wordt bellen met de telefoon afgeraden,
omdat dit de werking kan verstoren.
De prestaties nemen toe als u de telefoon tijdens datatransmissies met
de toetsen naar beneden op een stabiele ondergrond plaatst. Zorg
ervoor dat de telefoon tijdens een gegevensoproep niet beweegt en
houd de telefoon niet in uw hand.
