IEEE-1394/Firewire-Steckkarte (1)
(für PC und Macintosh; einschließlich Anleitung)
Für den Anschluss des Scanners benötigen Sie eine
IEEE-1394/Firewire-Schnittstelle. Wenn Ihr Computer
über keine eingebaute IEEE-1394/Firewire-Schnittstelle
verfügt, können Sie die mitgelieferte Steckkarte ein-
bauen. Windows-PCs verfügen in der Regel nicht über
eine eingebaute IEEE-1394-Schnittstelle. Auch ältere
Macintosh-Computer der G3-Serie (beige) sind stan-
dardmäßig nicht mit einer Firewire-Schnittstelle aus-
gestattet. Bei neueren Macs mit eingebautem Firewire-
Anschluss ist die Installation der Karte nicht notwen-
dig. Die Steckkarte lässt sich nicht in Laptops oder in
Computern verwenden, die keine PCI-Steckplätze be-
sitzen.
