Bedankt voor uw aankoop van de Nikon Speedlight SB-80DX.
Voor optimale resultaten raden we u aan deze handleiding grondig door
te nemen vooraleer u aan de slag gaat.

Hoofdkenmerken van de SB-80DX
• De SB-80DX is een krachtige flitser met richtgetal 38 (in de 35mm
zoomkopstand, bij 100 ISO, in meter, bij 20°C). Afhankelijk van de gebruikte
camera en het gebruikte objectief kunt u verschillende soorten van
automatische TTL flits (blz. 35), automatische niet-TTL flits (blz. 40) en
manuele flits (blz. 44) instellen. Bij gebruik van de digitale reflexcamera’s van
Nikon kunt u automatische D-TTL flits instellen (blz. 35) en AA (automatische
diafragmaopening) flits (blz. 42).
• De automatische bekrachtigde zoom kiest voortdurend een aangepaste stand
van de zoomkop in functie van de brandpuntsafstand van het objectief (niet
compatibel met sommige camera’s en objectieven, zie blz. 24). De
ingebouwde groothoekadapter breidt de dekkingshoek uit tot de beeldhoek
van een 14mm/17mm-objectief (blz. 25).
• De flitskop kan tot 90° omhoog en tot –7° omlaag gekanteld worden, maar hij
kan ook 180° horizontaal naar links en 90° naar rechts gedraaid worden voor
indirecte flitsfotografie (blz. 66) of close-upfotografie (blz. 70).
• Als de bijgeleverde Nikon Diffusion Dome wordt gebruikt in combinatie met
de ingebouwde groothoekadapter (blz. 69) voor indirecte flitsopnames
(blz. 66) of close-ups (blz. 70), wordt het licht van de flits verstrooid. Dat levert
evenwichtige, natuurlijker ogende foto’s op met zachtere schaduwpartijen.
• Ook draadloze multi-flitsfotografie (blz. 82) is mogelijk.
• Om het maken van flitsopnamen bij weinig licht te vergemakkelijken, kan het
LCD-scherm verlicht worden (blz. 10).
• Met de standaardinstellingen kunt u bepaalde waarden instellen of functies
activeren of annuleren die niet telkens opnieuw moeten worden ingesteld
(blz. 12).

• De Nikon N90s, N90, N70, N60, N55, N50, N8008, N8008s, PRONEA 6i, N6006, N6000,
N5005, N4004 en N4004s worden uitsluitend in de V.S. verkocht.
• De Nikon N80-Serie en N65-Serie worden uitsluitend in de V.S en in Midden- en Zuid-
Amerika verkocht.
• De Nikon N2020 en N2000 worden uitsluitend in de V.S. en in Canada verkocht.
