•DCF Versie 2,0: de Design Rule for Camera File Systems (DCF) is een breed toegepaste standaard in de
digitale camera-industrie voor compatibiliteit tussen diverse cameramerken.
•DPOF: Digital Print Order Format (DPOF) is een industriebrede standaard voor het afdrukken van foto
via printopdrachten die op de geheugenkaart worden opgeslagen.
•Exif versie 2.21: de D80 ondersteunt Exif (Exchangeable Image File Format for Digital Still Cameras)
versie 2.21, een standaard informatie die bij foto’s wordt opgeslagen; deze informatie wordt gebruikt
voor optimale kleurweergave wanneer de beelden worden afgedrukt met printers die aan de Exif-
voorwaarden voldoen.
•PictBridge: een standaard die werd ontwikkeld in samenwerking met de digitale camera- en printer-
industrie, die het mogelijk maakt foto's rechtstreeks op een printer te laten printen, zonder aanslui-
ting van de camera op een computer.
