In flash photography, the subject’s eyes may sometimes appear bright red. To reduce the “red-eye” effect, use this mode.

Check that the red LED
lights up before shooting.
•
If the red LED blinks, lightly press the shutter
release button again and wait for the red LED
to light up before reshooting
•
To cancel the red-eye reduction mode, press
the

button until “
@
”disappears from
the LCD panel. This mode can be canceled by
turning the power off.
•
Red-eye reduction and flash cancel modes
can be set together, but in this case red-eye
reduction cannot be performed.
