Compose the picture.
•When the main subject is outside the
autofocus frame mark “ ”, the area
behind the subject will be in focus.

Center the autofocus frame
mark on the main subject.

Lightly press the shutter
release button.
•Make sure that the red LED lights up for
a second.

Recompose the picture
and shoot.
▼
While depressing the shutter
release button lightly,
recompose the picture.
▼
Then depress the shutter
release button all the way.
•As long as the shutter release button is pressed
lightly, focus is locked.
•Do not change the camera-to-subject distance
while lightly pressed the shutter release button.
