XAV2602 beginnt, mit den anderen Powerline-Geräten zu
kommunizieren (angezeigt durch die blinkende Powerline-LED).
3. Verwenden Sie Netzwerkkabel (eines ist im Lieferumfang enthalten),
um Ihre Geräte an die Netzwerkanschlüsse am Adapter
anzuschließen.
• Anschluss 1 eignet sich für Datenverkehr mit hoher Priorität bei
Geräten wie z. B. Spielkonsolen.
• Anschluss 2 eignet sich für Geräte mit Datenverkehr mit niedriger
Priorität.
Sie können beide Anschlüsse verwenden oder auch nur einen.
4. NETGEAR empfiehlt, das Powerline-Netzwerk zu sichern, um Ihre
persönlichen Daten und Medien vor unbefugtem Zugriff zu
schützen. Wenn Sie keine Sicherung Ihres Netzwerks einrichten,
kann jede Person mit einem Powerline-Netzwerk im nahen Umkreis
diese Verbindung nutzen, um Zugriff auf Ihr Netzwerk und Daten zu
erlangen, die Sie über das Internet versenden. Dies ist von
besonderer Bedeutung in Mietshäusern, Bürogebäuden,
Schlafsälen und anderen stark bewohnten Bereichen.
