1. De setup-wizard vraagt herhaaldelijk om een passphrase in te voeren, oftewel ik deze
correct ingevoerd heb. Wat kan ik doen?
De extender bevindt zich zeer waarschijnlijk in het bereik welke door uw router afgedekt
wordt. Volg de aanwijzingen in het vorige hoofdstuk, om het probleem op te lossen. Als
u een WEP- codering gebruikt, controleer of u de netwerkcodering in het juiste veld heeft
ingevoerd.
2. Ik ben met NETGEAR_EXT verbonden en een browser-venster is geopend. Waarom
verschijnt de setup-wizard niet?
Controleer of uw computer DHCP (zoals meestal) ondersteund. Controleer of de led
voor de verbinding tussen de PC en de extender groen oplicht en of u een geldig IP-
adres bezit. Start dan de browser opnieuw en navigeer naar www.mywifiext.net.
3. Kan ik de extender ook gebruiken wanneer ik hem via een netwerkkabel op mijn router
aansluit?
Nee. De extender is alleen bedoeld voor een draadloze verbinding naar de router.
4. Met welke gebruikernaam en wachtwoord gebeurt de aanmelding bij de extender?
De gebruikernaam is "admin" en het standaard wachtwoord is "password". Bij beide
moet het gebruik van hoofdletter of kleine letter in acht worden genomen.
