Description of the freshwater functions
The required system is put together by adding functions to the
freshwater system.
Circulation (A)
DHW circulation (Fig. 20, page 202)
• Operation of a DHW circulation pump connected to the module can be
time and pulse-controlled.
Return valve (B)
Temperature-dependent infeed (Fig. 20, page 202)
• If a cylinder with temperature-dependent infeed is used, the return
can be supplied on two levels via a 3-way valve.
Freshwater station preheat (C)
Preheating of the DHW with the freshwater station (Fig. 21, page 203)
• With the preheating freshwater station the water is preheated
according to the instantaneous water heating principle when water is
drawn off. The DHW is then directly heated by a heat source in a DHW
cylinder until it reaches the set temperature.
Therm.dis./daily heat-up (D)
Thermal disinfection to prevent legionella (Drinking Water Ordinance
[Germany]) (Fig. 21, page 203)
• The entire volume of hot water and the preheating freshwater station
are heated up on a daily basis to the temperature that has been set for
daily heat-up.
This function is only available if function C has been added.
Cascade (E)
Cascading of freshwater stations for higher draw-off points (Fig. 22
and 23, from page 204).
• Additional freshwater stations are switched in for higher draw-off
volumes.
• This function is switched in if several freshwater stations have been
connected.
