Instellen van de
wateronthardingsinstallatie
Voor een goed afwasresultaat heeft de
afwasautomaat zacht water, d.w.z. water
met weinig kalk nodig. Anders zetten zich
witte kalkresten op het serviesgoed en de
binnenkant van de spoelruimte af.
Leidingwater met een te hoge
hardheidsgraad moet voor gebruik in de
afwasautomaat onthard, d.w.z. ontkalkt
worden.
Dit gebeurt met behulp van speciaal zout
in de wateronthardingsinstallatie van de
afwasautomaat.
De instelling en daarmee de benodigde
hoeveelheid zout zijn afhankelijk van de
hardheidsgraad van het leidingwater.
De wateronthardingsinstallatie kan maar
een beperkte hoeveelheid kalk opnemen.
Als de maximale hoeveelheid kalk is
opgenomen, moet de
onthardingsinstallatie met behulp van
onthardingszout geregenereerd d.w.z.
ververst worden.
Bij de fabrieksinstelling „Hardheid:
Automatisch” stelt de optische
kalkaanslagsensor de hardheidsgraad
vast en regelt automatisch de
wateronthardingsinstallatie. Hierbij hoeft
bij het in gebruik nemen van het apparaat
of bij een wisselende hardheidsgraad
van het water de instelling niet gewijzigd
worden.
Als u de onthardingsinstallatie toch met de
hand wilt instellen, ga dan als volgt
te werk:
de waterhardheid bij het
waterledingbedrijf of bij
de Servicedienst opvragen.
Apparaat met de hoofdschakelaar 1
inschakelen. Op het display verschijnt
het startmenu (als u het apparaat voor
het eerst in gebruik neemt pas nadat
u een taal hebt gekozen en eventueel
de reservoirs met zout en
glansspoelmiddel hebt gevuld).
Toets M/OK 2 net zo vaak indrukken
tot de instelling „Hardheid: Automatisch”
op het display verschijnt.
Met de toetsen – of + 3 de
instelwaarde tussen 0 en 7 kiezen
die volgens de onderstaande tabel
overeenkomt met de hardheidsgraad
van uw leidingwater. In de fabriek is
ingesteld op „Hardheid: Automatisch”.
Toets M/OK 2 indrukken. Hiermee
is de instelwaarde opgeslagen en keert
u terug in het startmenu.
Bij instelwaarde „0”is de
wateronthardingsinstallatie uitgeschakeld.
Een eventueel gebrek aan zout wordt niet
aangegeven.
