Do not obstruct or cover ventilation openings.
Always disconnect the product from the power outlet when
cleaning or moving the product.

Place the product in an area without any continuous sources of

furniture, curtains and similar.
Only install, operate and store the product in a room with a oor
area above 9 m2.
Only use the provided exhaust hose.
Do not block the exhaust hose. Blocking the exhaust hose may
cause overheating.
Do not twist the exhaust hose.
Ensure that the exhaust hose does not kink.
Only store the product in a well-ventilated area.
When the product is installed, operated or stored in a
non-ventilated area, make sure the room is designed to prevent
the accumulation of refrigerant leaks resulting in a risk of re or
explosion due to ignition of the refrigerant caused by electric
heaters, stoves, or other sources of ignition.
Only persons with a current valid certicate from an
industry-accredited assessment authority, which authorizes their
competence to handle refrigerants safely in accordance with an
industry recognized assessment specication, can work on or
break into a refrigerant circuit.
Servicing can only be performed as recommended by the
equipment manufacturer. Maintenance and repair requiring the
assistance of other skilled personnel can only be carried out
under the supervision of the person competent in the use of
ammable refrigerants.
When defrosting and cleaning the product, do not use any
means other than those recommended by the manufacturing
company.
Do not puncture or heat any part of the refrigerant circuit.
Installing the product
4Place the product on a stable and at surface.
4Only move the product in an upright position.
4Leave a minimum of 0.5 m free space around the air outlet and
swing louvers to allow a good circulation of airow.
4If the product has been tilted, allow it to stand upright for 2 hours
before plugging it in.
4Keep the product at a distance from ammable objects such as
furniture, curtains and similar.
4Do not block ventilation openings and make sure that there is
enough space around the product.
4Only install, operate and store the product in a room with a oor
area above 9 m2.

1. Assemble the exhaust hose A5, the exhaust nozzle A4 and
the exhaust hose connector Ae.
2. Slide Ae over the air outlet A9.
3. Extend A5 up to 1500 mm.
4Do not twist the exhaust hose.
4Ensure that the exhaust hose does not kink.
4. Assemble the window kit A6 with the window kit fasteners
A7.
5. Install A6 in the window opening.
6. Tighten A7.
7. Snap A4 into A6 and fasten with the exhaust nozzle screw

Assembling the continuous drainage (optional)
1. Open the drainage outlet Aq.
2. Connect Aq to a water container or drainage system (not
included).
Placing the batteries in the remote control
1. Slide the battery cover o the back of the remote control Ar
2. Insert 2 type AAA batteries.
3. Slide the battery cover back in place on Ar.
Installing the Nedis SmartLife app
1. Download the Nedis Smartlife app for Android or iOS on your
phone via Google Play or the Apple App Store.
2. Open the Nedis Smartlife app on your phone.
3. Create an account with your mobile phone number or your
e-mail address and tap Continue.
4You will receive a verication code on your mobile phone or
e-mail address.
4. Enter the received verication code.
5. Create a password and tap Done.
6. Tap Add Home to create a SmartLife Home.
7. Set your location, choose the rooms you want to connect with
and tap Done.
Adding a product to the Nedis SmartLife app
1. Switch on the product.
2. Tap + in the Nedis SmartLife app.
3. Select the device type you want to add from the list.
4. Conrm the Wi-FI indicator LED B3 is blinking fast.
4If B3 is not blinking fast, press the Speed button B5 on the
product for 5 seconds during standby mode to reset the product.
5. Follow the instructions in the Nedis SmartLife app.
6. Rename the product after it has been found and added.
7. After conrming you can control the product with your
smartphone.
To connect your SmartLife account to Amazon Alexa and/ or Google
Home, set it up using the “Smart Life” action or skill. For more details
check the instruction on either Amazon or Google.
