O modo international (internacional) não é de utilização legal em águas dos EUA e Canadá.
a. As administrações podem designar frequências nos serviços entre embarcações,
operações portuárias e movimentos de embarcações para ser utilizados por aviões ligeiros
e helicópteros para comunicar com embarcações ou estações costeiras participantes em
operações predominantemente de apoio marítimo de acordo com as condições especifi cadas
nos números 51.69, 51.73, 51.74, 51.75, 51.76, 51.77 e 51.78. No entanto, a utilização de
canais partilhados com a correspondência pública está sujeita ao acordo prévio entre as
administrações interessadas e afectadas
b. Os canais do presente anexo, com excepção dos canais 06, 13, 15, 16, 17, 70, 75 e 76,
também poderão ser utilizados para transmissões de dados e faz a alta velocidade, sujeitos
ao acordo prévio entre as administrações interessadas e afectadas.
c. Os canais do presente anexo, em especial o canal 28 e com excepção dos canais 06, 13, 15,
16, 17, 70, 75 e 76, também poderão ser utilizados para transmissões directas de telegramas
e de dados, sujeitos ao acordo prévio entre as administrações interessadas e afectadas.
