17. Smart Desktop
SmartDesktop se utiliza para administrar
Mapa
s hacia y desde el iCN, obtener actualizaciones
de software, administrar los puntos de interés (PDI) personalizados e instalar
Mapa
s base.
Nota: para Windows

XP, asegúrese de que
Windows XP Service Pack 1
se ha aplicado antes de
instalar Smart
Desktop
.
Microsoft
®
ActiveSync
®
Microsoft ActiveSync se utiliza para establecer una conexión entre el iCN y el ordenador. Active-
Sync 3.7.1 se instalará en el ordenador (si aún no lo está) como parte del proceso de instalación de
Smart
Desktop.
Instalación de Smart Desktop en el
ordenador
1. Cierre todos los programas que estén abiertos en el ordenador.
2. Inserte el CD de la Programa de instalación Smarten la unidad de CD-ROM del ordenador.
Se iniciará el programa de instalación de SmartDesktop.
• Si el ordenador no inicia el CD automáticamente, inicie la instalación de forma manual:
Inicio Ejecutar.
Escriba D:\Setup SmartST
2005 for iCN500 Series.exe, donde “D” es la letra asignada
a la unidad de CD-ROM. Haga clic en Aceptar
.
3. Siga las instrucciones en pantalla para instalar SmartDesktop:
• Seleccione el idioma que desee para SmartDesktop.
• Revise y acepte el Acuerdo de licencia para Smart
Desktop y Microsoft ActiveSync (si aún
no está instalado en el ordenador).
• Instale Microsoft ActiveSync (si aún no está instalado en el ordenador) cuando se le indique.
• Seleccione una carpeta de destino para Smart
Desktop.
4. Una vez finalizada la instalación, haga clic en Finalizar.
SmartDesktop se abrirá.
