19. Installieren von Landkarten
mit
Smart Desktop
Zum Lieferumfang Ihres iCN gehört eine bereits aktivierte Karte. Wenn Sie weitere Landkarten
benötigen, müssen Sie zunächst einen Map Product Key (Landkartenproduktschlüssel) kaufen.
Aktivieren Sie den Map Product Key mit Smart
Desktop, und installieren Sie die jeweilige Landkarte.
Installieren und Aktivieren von Landkarten
auf dem iCN
1. Öffnen Sie ggf. Smart Desktop:
Start
Programme Navman Smart Desktop
2. Legen Sie eine Smart Map CD in das CD-Laufwerk des Computers ein. Die verfügbaren
Landarten werden eingeblendet (die Standardfarbe verfügbarer Landkarten ist Blau mit
Crosshatch-Textur).
Hinweis: Wenn Ihr Computer Windows Explorer öffnet, schließen Sie das Fenster Windows
Explorer.
3. • Benutzer in Australien, Neuseeland und Nordamerika: Wenn Sie bereits einen Map
Product Key für Ihr Land aktiviert haben, fahren Sie mit Schritt 7 fort, andernfalls fahren Sie
mit Schritt 4 fort.
• Benutzer in Europa: Wenn Sie bereits eine Gold-/Paneuropäischen Map Product Key
aktiviert haben (aktiviert alle Landkarten in Europa), fahren Sie mit Schritt 7 fort, andernfalls
fahren Sie mit Schritt 4 fort.
4. Klicken Sie auf die Landkarte, die Sie auf dem iCN installieren möchten.
Hinweis: Eventuell müssen Sie mehrere Landkarten installieren, um den gewünschten
geografischen Bereich abzudecken.
5. Wenn Sie sich über eine DFÜ-Verbindung ins Internet einwählen, stellen Sie jetzt eine
Internet-Verbindung her.
6. Folgen Sie der Eingabeaufforderung, um den Map Product Key zu aktivieren:
• Geben Sie den Application Key von der Rückseite der CD-Hülle ein, wenn Sie dazu
aufgefordert werden.
• Sie werden aufgefordert, Ihre Kontaktdaten einzugeben oder
zu aktualisieren, so dass Navman Sie ggf. über neue Updates
informieren kann.
• Ihr Computer stellt eine Internet-Verbindung her und aktiviert den
Application Key.
• Wenn Sie eine Landkarte einer Kontinentalregion aktivieren,
die zuvor nicht auf dem iCN installiert war, folgen Sie den
Eingabeaufforderungen, um die neue Region zu aktivieren.
Die vier Kontinentalregionen sind Europa, Nordamerika, Australien und Neuseeland.
Auf der in Ihr CD-Laufwerk eingelegten Landkarten-
CD enthaltene Landkarten werden in der Farbe Blau
mit Crosshatch-Textur angezeigt.
