3. NEW IN TRAKTOR PRO 3.2
TRAKTOR PRO 3.2 comprises a set of features in the domain of harmonic mixing that, when used
together, open up a whole new world of harmonically matching track combinations.
Elastique 3.3.0 Time Stretching Engine
The Elastique time-stretching algorithms have been updated to the newest version 3.3.0. Your
tracks will sound more present, and transients will maintain their definition when pitching up or
down.
Updated Key Lock Feature for Harmonic Mixing
When you lock the key for a track, the key information is now displayed and highlighted by color-
coding in the Key Lock button in the Stripe. Additional buttons adjacent the Key Lock button let you
transpose the locked key in semitones. This allows you to adjust the next track to match the play-
ing track. The offset will be displayed in the Key Lock button. When engaging Key Lock on the
Master deck, all matching keys will be highlighted in the Browser, enabling you to select the next
matching track in your set. For more information, refer to Harmonic Mixing and Working with Key
Lock.
Display Resulting Key in Deck Header
The resulting key can also be displayed in the deck header by selecting the option Resulting Key
in the Track Decks Preferences page. This value also displays the resulting key without engaging
Key Lock, by showing the closest full semitone along with the current offset in cents. For more in-
formation, refer to Displaying Resulting Key in the Deck Header.
Option to Personalize Highlighting of Key Color in Browser
A new preference option in the Browser Details page in the Preferences allows you to customize
the way how matching keys will be highlighted in the key column of the Browser. For more infor-
mation, refer to Preferences – Browser Details Page.
Semitone Up and Down Controls and Resulting Key also on TK S4 MK3
The semitone controls are also available on the TK S4 MK3. By using SHIFT and the LOOP en-
coder you can transpose the original key in semitones. The resulting key is also displayed on the
TK S4 MK3.
TK S4 MK3 Headphone Volume Boost by +6dB
This version of TRAKTOR asks you to update your TK S4 MK3 to firmware 060, which features a
boost of the S4's headphone volume by +6dB.

With the release of TRAKTOR PRO 3.1 you get plenty of new features and improvements, includ-
ing:
Preparation View
The new TRAKTOR layout Preparation gives you wider view on deck A. The waveform reaches
over the entire application window which enables you to easy prepare your tracks with cue points
and loops. For more information, refer to Switching Deck Layouts.
Parallel Waveforms View
