POWER SUPPLY
AC ADAPTOR
The supplied AC adaptor is suitable for use on AC main supplies of AC 100-240V 50/60Hz and should only be connected to a mains supply
within these parameters.
Cautions:
• The AC adaptor included with this unit is for its use only. Do not use it with other equipment.
• Turn off the unit before unplugging the AC adaptor from the unit so as to avoid the unit being damaged.
• When the unit is not going to be used for long time, disconnect the AC adaptor from the AC outlet.
• Be sure to use it near the wall outlet and easily accessible. If a malfunction occurs, disconnect the plug from the wall outlet at once.
AC adaptor is used as the disconnect device. It shall remain readily operable and should not be obstructed during intended use. To be
completely disconnected the apparatus from supply mains, the AC adaptor of the apparatus shall be disconnected from the mains socket
outlet completely.
Never use an AC adaptor that is damaged, route power lead in a safe manner and make sure it is not subjected to trapping or pinching. If
the power lead is damaged refer to a qualied service agent.
TURN ON/ OFF THE UNIT
In standby mode, press button to turn on the unit. Press this button again to turn off the unit.
TIME AND DATE SETTING
Connect the AC adaptor from the unit to AC outlet, the time will ash.

BAND SELECTION
When the unit is on, repeatedly press

button to select DAB/DAB+ or FM band.
VOLUME ADJUSTING
To increase or decrease the sound level, press

LISTEN TO DAB/DAB+ RADIO
Automatic search
1. In DAB/DAB+ mode, press and hold
Menu
button to enter into the menu mode.
2. Press or button to select “FULL SCAN” and press
Select
to start automatic search. Once scan is complete, the radio returns to play
the previously-selected station or rst station on the station list.
Noted: When this is the rst time you use, or if the station list is empty, the radio will automatically scan and create a list of receivable DAB/
DAB+ broadcasts.
Manual Search
1. Press and hold

button to enter menu setting mode.
2. Press or button to select “MANUAL” in options menu. Press

3. Press or button again to select your desire frequency. Press

button to conrm.
4. The unit will automatically scan the station under selected frequency. The display shows a live indication of the received signal strength on
the selected frequency.
5. Choose your radio station with or button. Then press

button to turn to your desire station.
Note:
- If no broadcasts are found by DAB/DAB+ scan, “NO DAB” appears in the display.
- For a better reception, extend the telescopic antenna or do the full scan again in another place.
- During the search operation, the sound level is automatically muted.
Listen to FM radio
In FM radio mode, press or button once to manual tuning. Press and hold or button to automatic search.
Note: For a better reception, extend the telescopic antenna.
PRESET
This unit can store 10 FM and 10 DAB/DAB+ stations.
1. Repeatedly press
Mode
button to select FM or DAB/DAB+ band.
2. Select a radio station manually or automatic search.
3. Press and hold
Preset
button to enter to preset store mode.
4. Press or button to select a channel.
Noted: If you choose a station that hasn’t been allocated, “EMPTY” will be displayed. If the station has been allocated before, the frequency
will be showed.
5. Press

button to save it, “STORED” will be displayed.
6. Repeat step 1-5 to store other stations.
Listening to station presets
1. Press

button to select FM or DAB/DAB+ band.

once, then press or to select your desire station.

SETTING THE ALARM AND THE ALARM MODE
Turn on the unit when the time has been set.
1. Press

2. Press and to set the time of wake up, press

Noted: In 12 hour clock format, be sure to observe the AM/PM indicator to set correctly.
3. Press and to select the source of wake up by buzzer, DAB or FM. Press

4. Press and to select the alarm station by last or preset station. Press

button to conrm.
Noted: If you select the source of wake up by buzzer, it will not appear this selection.
5. Press and to specify one of the following alarm frequency options: “DAILY”, “ONCE”, “WEEKENDS” and “WEEKDAYS”. Press

button to conrm.
6. The alarm volume will be displayed. Press or button to select your desire alarm volume. Press

7. The alarm status will be showed. Press or button to choose on/off the alarm, press

to conrm. “SAVED” will be displayed.
Note:
- Same procedure applies for alarm 2 with
Alarm 2
button.
- Preset the station before you select the wake up source by preset stations.
- If you wake up with last radio, select your desire station, then press button to turn off the radio before alarm time reaches. For the station

Stopping the alarm
1. Alarm repetition
When the alarm time reaches, repeatedly press the top surface of the radio to select 5 10 – 15 – 30 minutes of snoozing. The alarm stops
and will sound again after the specied time.

Auto update
If it is the rst time to turn on the unit, the time will be automatically synchronised from DAB/DAB+ station.
Noted:
- The auto update function will be activated if the unit can receive DAB/DAB+ signal.
- If you would like to select the auto update source, please refer to the menu setting.
Manual time and date setting
When the unit is in standby mode:
