- Never recharge the batteries, apply heat to them or take them apart.
- In order to avoid leakage, always remove the batteries when unit will not be used for
a long period of time.
- If the remote control is not going to be used for a long time, remove the battery to
avoid damage caused by battery leakage corrosion.

The remote control operates on 1 pc “CR 20 25 ” lithium battery
(included). T o power up the remote control, remove the insulation
tab from the back of unit.
REPLACING BA TTERY FOR THE REMOTE CONTROL
1. Push the button toward right.
2. Pull the battery loader out.
3. Insert one “CR2025” size battery with the positive side (+) facing up.
4. Replace the cover .

Using the AC adaptor
The AC adaptor operates on AC between 100V and 240 V .
The supplied AC adaptor is suitable for use on AC mains supplies of 100-240V and
should only be connect ed to a mains supply within these parameters.
Disconnect all devices from the mains supply before c onnecting.

HEADPHONE VOLUME WARNING
Connect earphones with the volume set low and increase it i f required. Prolonged
listening through some earphone s at high volume se ttings can result in hearing damage.

Changing chapter/track
While the disc is play ing, press or to go immediately t o the next or previous
chapter (DVD), or to the nex t or pre vious track (CD).
Zoom (DVD, JPEG)
While a disc is playing, press
ZOOM
until yo u reach the zoom size you wa nt. The button
cycles through 2x, 3x, 4x and then zooms ou t to 1/2x, 1/3x and 1/4x, then returns to
normal playback.
Note: Under Zoom function for JPEG le, press

button to go to Zoom 100 %

Region Management Informat ion
Region Management Informa tion: This unit is designed and manufact ured to r espond
to the Region Mana gement Information that is enc oded on DVD disc s. If the Region
number printed on the DVD disc does not correspond to the Region numbe r of this unit,
this unit cannot play that disc.
The re gion number of this unit is 2.
Basic Playback

While the disc is play ing, press or one or more t imes to vary the speed and
direction of the accelerated play . Press to resume normal pla yback.

The user can access a specic location or a specic track by keying i n the target time or
the track number .

Note:
“SINGL E” : The selected track will pl ay once and then stop playback.
“REPEA T ONE” : The selected track will play continuously .
“REPEA T FOLD ER” : All tracks in the selected folder will play continuously .
“FOLDER” : All tracks in the selected folder will play once and then stop playback.
“SHUFFLE” : Randomly play onc e and then stop playba ck.
“RANDOM” : Random play continuously .
Note: Some DVD discs do not allow repeat function.
Program playback
With this option, you choose and p rogram the playback order . Y ou can store up to 20
tracks.
1. Insert a disc.
2. In playing or stop mode, p ress the
PROGRAM
button. The Program menu app ears.
Cautions:
* The AC adapt or included with this unit is for its use only . Do not use it with other
equipment.
* Turn of f the uni t before unp luggi ng the AC adaptor from th e unit so as to avoid the unit
being damaged.
* When the unit is not going to be used f or long time, disconnect the AC adaptor from
the AC outlet.
* Be sure to use it near t he wall outlet and easily accessible. If a malfunc tion occurs,
disconnect the plug fr om the wall outlet at once.
* AC adaptor is used as the disconnect device. It shall remain readily operable and
should not be obstructed during intended use. T o be completely disconnected the
apparatus f rom supply mains, the AC adaptor o f the appar atus shall be disc onnected
from the mains sock et outlet c ompletely .
* Never use an AC adaptor that is damaged, rout e power lead in a sa fe manner and
make sure it is not subjected to trapp ing or pinching. If the power le ad is damaged
refer to a qualied servic e agent.
Warnings:
• T o charge the ba ttery , just connec t the AC adaptor .
• Recharge the built-in battery when you are ready to use it again.
• While using the built-in b attery , t he environmental temper ature should be 5°C (41°F) to
35°C (95°F).
• T o get the longes t service life of the built-in batter y , charge at indoor-temperatur e.
• The bui lt-in battery i n this device may present a risk of fire or chemical burn if
mistreated. Do not disass emble, heat abov e 100°C (212°F), or incinerate.
• The un it should not be exposed to excessive heat su ch as sunshin e, re or the like.
• When discar ding the unit, envir onmental problems mus t be consider ed and local rules
or laws governing the disposal of such products must be strictly followed.
• When the built-in ba ttery po wer is low, “ LOW BA TTERY” will blink on display .
W AR NING: Disconnect this car pow er adaptor when not in use. Not for use in 24V
vehicles.
Cautions:
• Use only the included 12V car power a daptor . Use of any other 12V car power a daptor
could damage the unit.
• The 12V car power adaptor included is for use with this unit only . Do not use it with any
other equipment.
• In the interest of trafc safet y , drivers should not operate the unit or view videos while
driving.
• Make sure the unit is fastened correctly to prevent from falling in the vehicle in the
event of an accident.
• When the inside of the cigare tte lighter socke t is dirty with ashes or dust, the plug
section may bec ome hot due to poor conta ct. Be sure t o clean the cigar ette lighter
socket before use.
• After use, disconnect t he car pow er adaptor from both the unit and cigaret te lighter
socket.
Using the Built- in batt ery
The unit has a built-in re chargeable batt ery (lithium-polymer). Charge the built-in batter y
before using it for t he rst time. For new or exhaust ed rechargeable b attery p ack, we
recommend it be r echarged f or 3 hours. It can be recharged at any time r egardless of
whether it is fully or partially dischar ged. The charging indicator w ill stay lit when the
built-in battery becomes fully charged.
