4. Conexión y puesta en servicio
Conectar en primer lugar el cable lateral para la
tensión de servicio a una batería de coche de
12 V, o bien a un adaptador de alimentación de
12 V-DC con la polaridad correcta (rojo = polo +,
negro = polo -). A continuación el cargador ya está
listo para funcionar.
El aparato está protegido contra la polaridad
inversa, no obstante es importante evitarlo, ya
que en caso de polarización inversa se estropea
el cortacircuito fusible.
Tras una polarización inversa hay que cambiar
el fusible por un tipo idéntico (5A) (disponible en
establecimientos especializados o en gasoline-
ras).
La batería se conecta directamente, o bien a tra-
vés de un cable de carga con clavija banana, en
las entradas de conexión laterales de la derecha.
Al conectar preste atención a la correcta polaridad
(rojo = polo + / negro = polo -).
La salida del cargador está protegida contra la
polarización inversa y el cortocircuito, no obstante
es muy importante evitarlo y en su caso subsanar
el fallo de inmediato.

5. Selección del tipo de batería
Después de encender el cargador hay que confi-
gurar el tipo de batería correspondiente. Para ello,
sin batería colocada en el cargador, pulse la tecla
„START“ hasta que aparezca en la pantalla
el tipo de batería deseado.
