2. Initial operation 3. DCF (Installatio n of the DCF-antenna FU 2 0)
The time switch is delivered in sleep- mode, the display is switched off.
Press -butto n for 1 seco nd.
The current d ate and time is a lready programmed and European
daylig ht savin gs tim e is act ivated.
Select the desired language by pressing -buttons and confirm it by
pressing . (Remark: By pressing you move one step backwards
from the c urrent p ositio n)
If required, date, time and daylight savings time mod e can be adjusted
also by pr essing -buttons and a s ubsequent confirma tion with .
The time swit ch can proc ess the DCF si gnal.
The antenna FU 20 is not inc luded in delivery of the time switch.

Element within sub -menu “progr am delete”
1. To acc ess the Enter- mode (pr ogram, adjust ments, o ptions) f rom th e automat ic-mo de.
2. To revert to the beg inning of the current (sub-) menu .

Switching function / switching time with Easter function: The switching function takes into account
the yearly shift of Easter ho liday for future years and changes the da te of the switching program
accordingly.

the hand-symbo l and remains un til the next programming
step occurs. ( temporary over-ride)

more than 3 sec. the channel is permanen tly switched ON
or OFF. The sta tus remains until the next manua l switching

12. Cycle 13. Cycle options
Standard weekly pr ogram:
Program -> new program -> channel A/B/C/D -> Standard -> …
Special (weekly) program (to be ac tivated by date for the year ly function):
Program -> new program -> channel A/B/C/D -> Special-program -> SP-entry -> program-number -> …
For the cycl e functi on it is possi bile to ent er a perio dic switc hing tim e. The time s witch acts a s a recycli ng timer a nd
switches between pu lse (ON) and pause (OFF) . The max. value for pulse and pause is 9:59:59 h:mm:ss .
If you haven’t de fined and activated a cycle, the cycle function will not be available as switching time. Therefore you
have to activat e and def ine at le ast one of the fou r cycles within me nu Options and sub-menu Cycle (point 13 ).
The cycle switching time will be terminated by another switching time (on , off , pulse ) or by another cycle switching
time.
Options -> Cycle -> Cycle 1 - 4 -> …
You have the possib ility to define 4 different Cycles. For these purposes choose menu Opt ions and sub- menu Cycle . The differ ent
cycles ca n be activ ated, defi ned or deac tivate d (the max. v alue for p ulse or paus e is 9:59: 59 h:mm:ss ):
Choose menu Options and sub-menu Cycle and confirm with .
Select with -buttons on e out of the 4 cycl es (Cycle 1 – Cycle 4 ) an d confirm wit h .
Activat e the cycle b y changin g No to Yes with -buttons and subsequent confirming with .
Define dur ation of th e pulse „on-ti me“ ( -> …).
Define dur ation of th e pause „off time“ ( -> …).
Confirm End with .
The cycl e is now offered wi thin t he program ming m enu.
Further applications of the cyc le function in combination with: External Inpu t function and/or Channel keys func tion.
14. Pulse 15. Priorities of the swi tching programs
Standard weekly pr ogram:

Special (weekly) program (to be ac tivated by date for the year ly function):

The pulse function prov ides you the opportunity of programming a switching time with a defined duration.
As soon as the p ulse-d uration ha s expire d the time switc h switch es OFF autom aticall y (the durat ion of the p ulse is up to
59:59 mm:ss).
Standard switch ing times, Special programs, Extra sw itching times and Permane nt by date are executed accordin g to their
corresponding pr iority (by channel and date )
All switching programs except Extra switchin g times, sus pend all ot her switc hing pro grams with l ower prio rity:
