For regular inspection, the following items shall be taken into account:

• Check that the stiles/legs (uprights) are not bent, bowed, twisted,

dented, cracked, corroded or rotten;

nicht verbogen, gekrümmt, verdreht, verbeult, gerissen,

korrodiert oder verrottet sind;

Controleer of de stijlen / poten (staanders) niet gebogen,

gebogen, gedraaid, gedeukt, gebarsten, gecorrodeerd of verrot

zijn;

Vérifiez que les montants / jambes (montants) ne sont pas pliés,

courbés, tordus, bosselés, fissurés, corrodés ou pourris;

• Check that the stiles/legs around the fixing points for other

components are in good condition;

Überprüfen, dass Holme/Beine um die Fixierpunkte für andere

Teile in gutem Zustand sind;

Controleer of de stijlen / poten rond de bevestigingspunten voor

andere componenten in goede staat zijn;

Vérifiez que les montants / pieds autour des points de fixation

• Check that fixings (usually rivets, screws or bolts) are not missing,

loose, or corroded;

Überprüfen, dass Befestigungen (Nieten, Schrauben, Bolzen)

nicht fehlen und nicht lose oder korrodiert sind;

Controleer of bevestigingen (meestal klinknagels, schroeven of

bouten) niet ontbreken, loszitten of gecorrodeerd zijn;

Vérifiez que les fixations (généralement les rivets, les vis ou les

boulons) ne sont pas manquantes, desserrées ou corrodées;

• Check that rungs/steps are not missing, loose, excessively worn,

corroded or damaged;
