• When using for the first time, wash the plates
(in accordance with the cleaning
instructions), pour a little cooking oil on the
plates and wipe with a soft cloth.
• Do not hold the plates by their sides when
they are hot.
• Ensure that the plates are correctly
positioned on the appliance. Only use the
plates supplied with the appliance or
acquired from an approved service centre.
• In order to avoid damaging the plates, they
should only be used on the support for which
they were designed (e.g. do not use them in
the oven, on a gas or electric hob etc.).
• Do not put the hot plates on a fragile surface
or immerse in water.
Cleaning
• Unplug the power cord and allow the
appliance to cool down before cleaning.
• Never immerse the appliance and power cord
in water. Do not attempt to clean them in a
dishwasher.
• Clean the plates and body of the appliance
using a clean cloth, hot water and washing-
up liquid. The plates are dishwasher safe.

Never use metallic sponges or scouring
powder to clean the appliance as this will
