This appliance is manufactured to conform to
the Low Voltage Electrical Equipment (Safety)
Regulations 1989 and is designed to comply
with BS 3456. It complies with the requirements
of the EEC Directive (89/336/EEC).
- Handle the blades carefully, they are
extremely sharp.
- You must remove the blades (D) and the
spindle (C) before emptying the bowl of
its contents.
- Never touch any parts whilst they are still
moving.
- Always use the pusher to push food down
the feeder tube. Never use your fingers, a
fork, spoon, knife or any other utensil.
- Never use your appliance empty or if you
notice a fault (damaged lead etc...)
Changing the Mains Lead
If the mains lead or the plug are damaged, do not
use your appliance. In order to avoid any acci-
dent, they must be replaced by an approved
Moulinex Centre (see list in the leaflet "Moulinex
Service").
- Do not allow the mains lead to hang over the
edge of your worktop or table.
- Use only Moulinex attachments.
- Always unplug the appliance when you have
finished using it.
- This appliance is for domestic use only.
Using your appliance
- Plug the appliance in.
- Pulse button: Press the button (A7)
intermittently for greater control of certain
processes.
- Continuous action button: Turn the button
(A8) round to where it is marked «1».
- Switching off: Turn the button (A8) to where
it is marked «0».
- Speed selector(A6): choose the speed
indicated or vary the speed during processing.
- Using the lower power outlet: the upper
power outlet hood (A1) must be locked into
place.
- Using the upper power outlet : If you leave
the processor bowl into place whilst using
the blender (I) or the mini-chopper (J) make
sure that the lid (B2) is unlocked.
Functions of your food
processor
. Assembling the bowl/drive (B3)
The bowl/drive set is used with the following
accessories:
- blades (D), whisks (F), grating/slicing
disks(E), citrus press (G), maxi-press (H)
- Place the joint (B5) in the middle of the bowl
- the flat side of the joint facing the bottom of
the bowl
- Place the drive (B4) on the joint (B5)
- Lock the drive(B4) with the nut (B6) as far as
it will go.
- Dismantle and clean all parts after use.
MIXING, BLENDING, CHOPPING, KNEA-
DING LARGE QUANTITIES
Depending on the type of food, the processor
bowl (B) allows you to process up to 1500 g of
food.

. Metal blade (D1) for blending or chopping.
. Plastic kneading blade (D2) for kneading or
mixing.

ACCESSORIES
- Check that the upper power outlet hood
(A1) is closed.
- Place the bowl and drive (B3) on to the motor
unit lower power outlet (A3). Turn it using the
handle until it locks into place.
- Place the spindle (C) on to the bowl drive (B4)
- Slide the metal blade (D1) or the plastic
kneading blade (D2) on to the spindle (C)
down to the bottom of the bowl.
- Place your ingredients into the bowl.
- Place the lid (B2) on the bowl and turn it until
it clicks into position. The spur on the lid sticks
out of the base of the lid locking slot (A4).
Attention:
To unlock the metal blade (D1) from the spindle
(C):
- Place the unit on a stable surface
- Turn the spindle (C) clockwise, holding the
metal blade (D1) by its upper section

Blending
- Set the speed between 3 and 5 (A6) and turn
the button (A8) to start the appliance.
You can blend up to 1 litre of soups, stewed
fruit etc in 20 secs.
Chopping
- Set the speed on 5 (A6) and turn the button
